Sell Your Business
Sell your business confidentially, to a buyer who is qualified.
Your business is probably the largest asset you own. Selling it well comes down to three things: a realistic price, a buyer who can close, and a process that keeps your employees, customers and competitors from finding out too early.
How we help
- Valuation. We give you an honest range based on seller’s discretionary earnings or EBITDA, not a flattering number that never sells.
- Confidential marketing. Your listing is anonymous. Buyers see the name and financials only after they sign an NDA and show proof of funds.
- Buyers who are qualified. You spend your time only on people who have the money and a real plan.
- Deal structure. Cash, SBA financing, seller financing and earnouts. We help you choose terms that close.
- Through closing. We coordinate diligence, the purchase agreement and the handoff.
Key terms
- SDE
- Seller’s discretionary earnings: profit plus the owner’s salary and personal add-backs. It’s the standard way to value owner-operated businesses.
- EBITDA multiple
- A common way to value a business: its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization, multiplied by a market factor.
- Seller financing
- A portion of the price paid over time by the buyer rather than all at closing, usually on agreed terms and interest.
- Earnout
- A part of the price tied to the business hitting agreed results after the sale.
- Transition period
- A defined stretch after closing when the seller helps hand off relationships, systems, and knowledge.
What to expect
- A confidential first conversation about your goals and timing.
- A valuation and a review of your financials.
- A confidential listing and screening of buyers (NDA and proof of funds).
- Offers, a letter of intent, and diligence.
- Closing and a planned transition.
